UAE MARKET ENTRY

LUXURY FOOTWEAR D2C

MARKET LAUNCH & WEBSITE

SuperGlamorous: A global luxury footwear brand needed more than a regional website. It needed a digital experience built for the UAE luxury customer.

The brief wasn't to recreate Superglamorous' global store. It was to adapt the brand for a new market through stronger visual storytelling, a more premium user experience, and a storefront designed to meet the expectations of luxury shoppers in the UAE.

ORIGIN

Pain Point

Superglamorous had global credibility. Its own website wasn't the standard to launch UAE with, it was the bar to beat.

Superglamorous already had everything most brands spend years building: heritage, international credibility, and a loyal customer base. But entering the UAE meant speaking to a different luxury audience with different expectations around presentation, merchandising, and digital experience.

The objective wasn't to duplicate the existing global website. It was to elevate it for the region, creating a Shopify experience that preserved the brand's identity while aligning with the visual standards and buying behaviour of the UAE luxury market. Simply localising the store wouldn't have been enough. The digital experience itself had to justify the brand's premium positioning in a new geography.

"The challenge wasn't translating a website. It was translating a luxury brand into a new market."

The team behind it

Brand and web strategists, AI creative producers, backend developers, and CRO/email specialists ran the build end to end, from first concept to a fully synced, live storefront.

We built a UAE fit mood board first to align the client on the new visual direction, so the regional aesthetics, one meant to outdo the brand's own global site and enter UAE luxury market before a single page was designed.

Once direction was locked, the full site was designed and built as its own dedicated launch platform, not a reskinned copy of the global site.

Every visual on the site was AI-generated, avoiding the cost and timeline of a separate regional photoshoot for a market-entry launch.

A complete backend was set up with products synced directly from the global Superglamorous catalog, keeping UAE inventory current without manual duplication.

01

Built a mood board to align on UAE regional aesthetics stronger than the brand's own global site.

A brief this ambitious needed buy-in before execution. We built a mood board to define and agree the visual direction upfront, so there was no ambiguity about what ‘regionally and visually stronger’ actually meant before design work began.

03

Used AI imagery throughout, no photoshoot required.

A regional launch didn't need a regional shoot. Every product and campaign visual was fully AI-generated, keeping the launch fast and cost-efficient without compromising the premium look the brief demanded.

02

Designed and built a UAE storefront from scratch.

This wasn't a copy of the global site with a new domain. We designed and built a dedicated storefront for the UAE launch, built to carry the brand's credibility into a brand-new market.

What we did

05

Built a mood board to align on UAE regional aesthetics stronger than the brand's own global site.

A launch that only converts first-time visitors leaves revenue behind. We built in notify me, back-in-stock alerts, wishlist, and email marketing from day one, so the store could recapture interest, not just capture a single visit.

04

Set up the backend and synced the product catalog from the global site.

Manual product entry doesn't scale for a luxury catalog. We built the backend so inventory synced directly from Superglamorous' global catalog, keeping the UAE store accurate without duplicated manual work.

A luxury experience tailored to UAE customer expectations, while staying unmistakably Superglamorous.

A UAE storefront that visually outperforms the brand's own global site, exactly as briefed

A backend that keeps regional inventory accurate automatically, with no manual catalog work

Retention infrastructure capturing demand (notify me, back in stock, wishlist) that a launch-only store would have left on the table

Takeaways for Brand

Takeaways for Brand

Sometimes the brief isn't to match the brand. It's to outdo its own flagship.

A new market launch is a chance to raise the bar, not just replicate it.

Pin icon image

A regional launch doesn't need a regional photoshoot.

If the imagery system is right, AI can carry a premium launch without one.

Pin icon image

Syncing inventory from a global catalog removes an entire category of error.

Manual duplication doesn't scale, and it doesn't need to.

Retention tools matter as much as the storefront that gets someone there.

Wishlist, back-in-stock, and email capture demand a launch-only site would lose.

Launching an established brand in a new market is still a first impression.

Launching an established brand in a new market is still a first impression. Treat it like one, even if the brand has decades of credibility elsewhere.
